How to Create a Kid-Friendly Bathroom
Back-to-school season is nearly here and for busy families, this means hectic mornings getting ready in the bathroom. Here are a few kid-friendly tips to help ease the stress.
KID-FRIENDLY TIPS:
- Have Step Stools Handy – It can be tough for little ones to reach the sink. Have a step stool in the bathroom so that they can get up to brush their teeth with minimal assistance!
- Give Them Personalized Belongings – Get kids organized by giving them responsibility of their belongings. A bucket with their name for towels can help them feel a sense of ownership over their morning and nightly routines.
- Install Sensors – Instead of having kids reach for lights and faucet handles, consider installing a touchless system. This will help make things easier for small children and help reduce the spread of germs.
- Make the Sink Reachable – If you want to forego the stool, consider lowering your sink height so that smaller children can reach the faucet!
