Spooky Things Hiding in Your Bathroom

Palmer’s House Hotel has nothing on what can be lurking in your own bathroom! Prevent any of these things from taking over your bathroom and get rid of them as soon as possible.

MALICIOUS MOLD AND MILDEW

Mold and mildew can build up over time around areas prone to getting wet. If your bathrooms aren’t clean, you could be facing some serious mold or mildew problems. This is the case especially if your bathrooms don’t air out and dry after showers. Allow for more ventilation in the areas you see getting attacked. Additionally, bleach is the best tool for fighting back against mold, so better start scrubbing!

LIFELESS LEAKS

The last thing you need is for your pipes to have a leak, but it happens easier than you think. It can be anything from a drip in the bathroom sink to a leaky shower head. Either way, it’s important to fix it soon so that you don’t continue to waste water!

DIABOLICAL DRAINAGE

Clogs build up over time and jump out at us when we least expect it. Know that both your sink and your shower/bath drain are probably prone to clogging. It’s not always an easy fix, sometimes it just takes over. Try pouring a baking soda and vinegar mixture down these drains to fix the jam.

PHANTOM FLUSHES

Does your toilet flush by itself during the night? Don’t panic, it’s probably not a ghost! This might just mean the flapper chain inside the toilet is not working properly to catch all the water. You’ll need to remove it and replace it with the type your personal toilet needs.
